Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use apply to joyco.info, run by The Joy Company ("Joyco," "we," "us"), a nonprofit organization based in San Bernardino, California. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes and to connect with Joyco programs. You agree not to:

  • Break any law or use the site to harm, harass or threaten anyone.
  • Submit false information, or submit forms on behalf of someone without their permission.
  • Try to hack, overload, scrape or interfere with the site.
  • Upload viruses or harmful code.

If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian's involvement. Program forms for students must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Our content

The text, logos, photos, videos, curriculum and other materials on the site belong to Joyco or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. "The Joy Company," "Joyco" and the Joyco logo are our marks.

You may share links to our pages and posts. You may not copy, sell, republish or change our content, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.

4. What you send us

When you submit a form, message or other content, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We use it as described in our Privacy Policy. Ideas or feedback you send may be used by Joyco without payment to you.

5. Shop orders and digital downloads

  • Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. We may correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders.
  • Payment is handled at checkout by our e-commerce and payment providers.
  • Digital products (such as the JOYCO Leadership Curriculum and the BLOOM Prayer Strategy) are licensed to you for personal or single-organization use. You may print copies for the students or group you lead, but you may not resell, share publicly or post them online.
  • Physical products ship to the address you give at checkout. Delivery times are estimates.
  • Refunds: digital downloads are non-refundable once downloaded. Physical items may be returned unused within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Contact us with any order problem.

6. Donations

Donations to The Joy Company support our youth and family programs and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us within 30 days. The Joy Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt by email.

7. Other websites

The site links to and embeds content from other services, such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and our payment providers. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.

8. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee the site will be error-free or always available. Content on the site, including blog posts and resources, is for general encouragement and education. It is not professional counseling, medical or legal advice. For counseling services, contact us directly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Joyco, its directors, staff and volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase, if any.

10. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable attorney fees) that arise from your misuse of the site or breaking these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California.
