DeVone (aka Devo) Martin grew up in LaVerne California, a small family city located in the suburbs of Los Angeles. His music is a perfect blend of Contemporary Christian, Adult Contemporary and Gospel. One of the local pastors said, “Devo’s heart and style is so well blended that he can sing before any audience and still make a connection. He’s a natural.”

 

Growing up in a “white” suburban neighborhood, singing in a “black” church in South Central LA on weekends and singing classical music during the week is what makes Devo Martin unique in every way. His diversity and musical education has given him the opportunity to perform on TBN, JCTV/JUCE, American Idol, America's Got Talent and Dancing with the Stars.

 

After over 14 years of being happily married and 3 kids, his songwriting and ministry has taking on new found faith and fresh new perspective. Devo’s greatest desire is to hear God’s voice clearly and obey quickly.

 

Devo is soon to release his new single called “In His Presence (He Makes Me Happy)” followed by his 2nd single entitled “I’m Ready”.
